So it looks like WiiU is on track to hit 9m (with a bit of luck it could do a little higher) by 2015. I looked at how long it took WiiU to sell 1m from Jan 4th~ this year, and it takes me to June 14th.

If WiiU maintained the same level as early this year, my prediction should come true.

WiiU does have a more consistant slate of games in Q1/Q2, but then nothing as big as Mario Kart to push hardware (which pushed 300k out of that 1m in the last 3 weeks of this period).

However, If Nintendo price cut before E3 this could destroy this prediction.

Most likely after Zelda and Starfox are shown. Now that I look at it, Wii U won't get past Game Cube will it? No wonder they've already started development on a new console. Anyway, yeah 10M after E3.

I think it will hit 10M before E3. Not betting on it though...

They have shipment goal of 9.77 million by the end of March. That will probably equal to 9.3-9.4 million in actual sales. I don't see them reaching 10 million by mid-June without a big pricecut or Splatoon becoming a big hit.

Asssuming it does hit 9 million end of 2014, WiiU has to hit an average of around 40k a week WW to clear 10 million by E3. If it can manage that through Februrary, they'll easily do that before E3.

Depends on how the baseline settles after silly season.

I would imagine it happening after E3 ...

Nintendo are going to have to grab a quarter decent footing in more than one territory to pull it off with the increasing market saturation going on ...

It's overtracked at this moment! I've been saying for a while now that i'm expecting it to hit 10Million around June 2015.
