Is this the WRC guys?

I do like a good rally game, but the WRC games were a bit bland

Doubt a rally game could ever excite me as much as Rally Sport Challenge 2 did. By far the best rally game ever made. Time will tell.

I am really hanging out for the next iteration of Dirt, but this definitely looks like it could be worth a try... just hope it is more dirt like rather than WRC.

Yeah, nothing in the genre has come close to that game in the last decade

Let me shed some light in your Rally game world, prepare to be amazed!

I assume that you never played the inarguably greatest Rally sim ever made: Richard Burns Rally for PC, despite the game launching 10 years ago, the community is alive & kicking, they even released a new mod RSRBR that is updated every year, tons of new cars, specials, physics.

You can search on any decent car sim site, the verdict is always the same, Richard Burns is THE game!

Everything released these last years be it Dirt, WRC, Rally mode in Gran Turismo even the Rally mode in otherwise the excellent rFactor, all fell flat when compared to RBR.

The physics of this game will put a grin on your face that even the Joker would be jealous of, that is if you love sims!

Here's for you, just admire the quality of the car physics, the Delta @ 2:06 the flick, rear wheels locking due to the handbrake... just looking at it, is pure joy:

More slow mo:

On the GroupB mod:

Here is a real good cokpit set-up & nice driving:

They are even making it Oculus compatible:

If you like Rally driving, this is the best, you don't need a high spec PC, since it's an old game but a Force Feedback 900º wheel is pretty much needed, Logitech G-27 is a good quality/price wheel (that's what I race with), or if you have the $$ there is the Thrustmaster T 500 rs or even better you can import Frex wheels, they are good but costy!!!

Cheers!!!

I play a lot of PC games, in fact I play more Pc games than console ones. But rally and driving games are something I simply can't stand playing on a PC. So unless they have a console version then no matter how nice it is I personally wouldn't bother with it.
