Forums - Gaming Discussion - Assassins Creed Unity is clearly the best looking game ever.

When standing completely still.

I won't accept any other arguments of other games; the likes of TLoU, Crysis, Uncharted, blah blah blah.

When Unity is at a complete stand still (freeze or just not moving) the game is so vividly detailed it's almost unbelievable.

Just recently finished it and I stand by this statement. The game itself underwhelmed me the more I played. There is just way too much to do. The series needs to be simplified and turned back into a video game.

I I had no desire to 100% Unity like I did twice (PS3 and 360) with AC2.

But it I digress. If Unity ran smoother it'd be the prettiest game ever in motion. As it is, it's the prettiest screenshots of a game.

Currently own:

  • Ps4

Currently playing: Witcher 3, Walking Dead S1/2, GTA5, Dying Light, Tomb Raider Remaster, MGS Ground Zeros

I would say Halo 5(small glimpse) , Bayonetta 2 , Zelda Wii U(apparently even better now) , MK8, Sim City (except pixelated people) and GTA are better.

And no point of playing a game when I would just stand still all day long and do nothing.

Well, StarCitizen and pretty much a shit ton of PC games with mods still look better even when standing still imo

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

bloodborne will look better and run better

I don't think there is much contest. The game looks incredible. Tho you need to have a crazy system to even make it work.

Though it is predictable that people would say Infamous and so on lol.

Except lots of pop up and minor frame rate issues this game is a looker PS4.

Well for now I'm having a blast with GTA 5 remastered.graphics. It looks so much better than the ps3 version.

It looks nice, but with those poor character animations/character designs, I have to disagree.

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

Ah the ignorance of console gamers knows no bounds...

Yeah that's still beta.

The lighting and detail in Paris is certainly stunning

For me the most annoying thing is clipping, far more than the stuttering. But that seems to be a problem in every game, in fact Dragon Age is probably even worse in that aspect
