Well hey there. Tri-Ace is remaking Star Ocean: Second Evolution for the Vita. The first remake for the PSP was co-developed by Tose and Square Enix, but Tri-Ace themselves will be handling this new version. 

It’s being assumed that it’s not just a direct port since Tri-Ace is handling the project themselves, unlike the PSP ver. We’ll see.

The site with the info in question also says that it’s a DL title, so at this point anything can happen.

EDIT: It’s 100% the case that some form of Star Ocean 2 is coming to Vita as a DL title, but it would appear that it’s not exactly confirmed that Tri-Ace is remaking it, so for the time being we’re going with a question mark!

Cool but how about Star ocean on PS4, any hints possibilities ?????

Why would they remake a remake? its a psp game.. can't we already play it on the vita?

Release date? West-Release? Exclusiv?

Ermm, a new game would be nice or at least one not already remade... Anyway sounds good, I haven't played it so will be new for me (assuming it comes west)

I imagine they'll be adding some new stuff to it.
