I think if PS4 wins December(and lets say november too) Xone will not return to the original price.

299? MS would be bleeding too much money i think(specially after all this crazy deals)

yeah if they go back up it'll be almost as temporary as the cut down.  I do think they will though because of image problems they lie about it being temporary.  They can't afford for any more PR disasters.

I could see it happening. I believe this "temporary" price cut may in fact be permanent (at least a kinectless sku without a game) and then a further $50 reduction if they do not gain some ground against the PS4 as M$ clearly wants to win this gen.

I think it depends on how the spike plays out. If it actually increased the baseline the price will go up to 349, seeing as it was getting slaughtered at parity. If it is just a spike, then it would stay at 299 or even drop further, but at this point the only thing keeping investors at bay is the holiday season.
This would only be the case for the US, since MS has basically given up WW.

Quite possible, if it is combined with a X1 slim model release. I believe they will release the X1 slim for 349$ and a larger HDD

Easy. I don't see exlusive-big releases games for XOne this Q1-Q2, and MS not can do nothing.

We all saw how much sell XOne without games this summer... Especially if considering that this Jenuary XOne will have a massive drop because the price in the US (It will back 400$).

So, MS will make another pricedrop for Xone for help the sales. It will have a nice boost, but not like -100$ the summer 2014 or -50$ this holidays.

I think they will hold at $349..  Maybe even go to $379 for Jan-March..   There are a TON of quality games coming out in those 3 months..   While no XO exclusives, there are several that favor the XO audience.   Evolve for one seems to be getting more promotion on XO then PS4...   So I dont see a big reason to drop those months..  I could see a Oct/Nov $299 price..  or EVEN the new SMALLER XO for $299 in November 2015..
