Forums - Gaming Discussion - Most OPed/Broken character(s) in VG history?

Rules: No characters that are known for their comic books or anywhere else in fiction than their video games (Super Man, Hulk, Silver Surfer etc.). Origins have to be from a Video game or more recognized for their games now if originated from some other form of fiction or media.

My vote has to go to Samus from Super Metroid. Even when I was playing the OG Smash Bros. I was like Samus has this whole roster at her laughing mercy fully powered up. From super human jumping/ agility,  missiles that equal an RPG(and I dont mean role playing game ), Super Missiles that are 5x stronger than those, Mini nukes that can blow up half of central park, invulerabilty with her screw attack, runs faster than the speed of sound breaking through solid rock and enemies, the ability to swim in lava and survive in it without a scratch, to moonwalk in intense gravity, and a variety of freezing, pulse, and disintegrating beams at her disposal, she can cause an apocalypse herself... If Mario is the Nintendo Super Man.... Than Samus is definitely Nintendo's Wonder Woman...

Anybody else considered OPed/ Broken?

There is only one true answer, odd job in goldeneye. He's so short I can't fucking hit him!

Akuma from Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, aerial fireballs man.

Asura. He punches freaking planetsized people!

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

Me!

Bayonetta cause not only does she beat angles everyday but at the end of Bayonetta 1, she beats a god-like weapon who has the power to distory the universe as well as use galaxies as weapons as well as many other things! Its like, holy tits

Lmao... yeah I remember those days... as quoted in South Park "If your gonna pick Jaws against Oddjob, you're gonna have a bad time"...

He was even more broken in 007:Nightfire (he was still small and he threw his hat = instant death if it hits).

Not to mention Zero time recovery, air juggles in an era where they didn't exist, and can spam Shoryukens without getting hit...

Still a reason why he's banned online and in tournies.

While not as bad as Akuma was. Meta Knight is one of the reasons I do not like Brawl (Ice Climbers wobble is another reason), not only is he extremely good but he is a pain in the ass to fight against.

Asura is the only right answer here. he can destroy planet sized gods with his wrath.

That's still no excuse on how much he got gimped for Smash 3DS (he's not even a shadow of his former self ).

Still, a overgimped Meta Knight is better than a OPed one...
