Forums - Gaming Discussion - CoD: AW is 1080p on Xbone

Now when they say dynamic, they probably don't mean changing every second otherwise that would be much worse than you can imagine so I think they mean dynamic across the title. So on mode will be this minimum which is about the same as 900p and another mode may be 1080p. This is different from thePS4 version which is 1080p across all modes.

Dynamic resolution is fine... I think Wolfenstein use it and changes all the time.

according ot them , most of the time its above the minimum and the scaling depends on the scene you are playingn  at that moment.

yea it does. nearly finished with the game. you rarely noticed it when it happens.

Does it change from second to second?

If it was 'barely noticeable', how did you know it was happening?

The PS5 Exists.

Not what i noticed it. I have noticed twice in the 13 chapters i played and that  during two cutscenes. gameplay wise , i didn't see any changes. Most of the time the game doesn't have alot of things happening at one time.

apparently its easier to upacale vertically then it is horizontally. I have the game  and its quite beautiful to play. i am not a big COD fan either. but its pretty sharp and the graphics especially character models are very detailed.  i got thsi game splitting it three ways with my brothers lol.  Its alot of  fun and huge improvement over Ghost.  The resolution according to sledgehammer is above the minimum most of the tim ebut at what resolution , they won't say lol. Fair enough. it does look alot sharper and graphically better then ghost.

It depends on the panel I guess.
I run it through my PC's 2560x1440 monitors and limit the Xbox One to 720P, which lets the monitor handle the scaling (It's exactly quadruple the resolution), looks cleaner than a stretched 1080P image in my opinion.
Might be different if you (which this would be the majority) had it plugged into a 1080P TV though.

there was two cutscenes and those two custcenes were obviously blurry and was wondering why, since the other cutscenes in the game were very sharp.

1600 x 900 = 1.440.000 pixels
1360 x 1080 = 1.468.800 pixels
1920 x 1080 = 2.073.600 pixels (True 1080p)

Can we deduce then that the computational power for rendenring 900p and 1360x1080 is pretty much the same? At least they can say it's 1080p

If 1360x1080 is '1080p" then so is 240 x 1080. XD

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine
