I think its fine if people avoid this game because they're tired of the IP. But getting so worked up over its graphics is dumb.

It still looks better than 7th gen graphics, platforms many of us still play.

It is the opposite... the JPEG is showing in native resolution... on HDTV it will be upscalled.

The game looking alphaish has nothing to do with resolution. The graphics just look bad period (in regard to AAA stuff)

But resolution is the focus?

Its still a stretched image and its a jpeg. The image won't look that soft when actually playing. It will look more crisp on a TV.
