You can say the same thing about people cheering for as good as expected shipments, but totally ignore that the whole company is pretty much ruined.

Tagging.

Sony Japanese shares up near their high for the year even with the warning, US shares up 4%. Expect blowout PS4 (PS3) shipments and green in other segments but their mobile will be a drag. Will still have their fiscal year loss intact.

Not that ironic when they bought Nokia, which was the biggest phone manufacturer when I was growing up ;o

What was the sellthrough at the end of july? 10M? So maybe 3M shipped in the quarter with about 1M in the channels. Or, that might be to big of a number in the channels?

Since PS4 is selling about 200k+ per week I'd say 1m+ in the channel sounds right.
