These are all the games on Metacritic with a 75+ score for the home consoles. I've gone through the 80+ lineup to make sure multiplats with no metascore for Xb one and / or Wii U are added in their columns, and I think I've taken out reviewed DLC. But for the 75-79 games I got lazy and haven't done that clean up. You can also see that PS4 has the most 80+ games, though only 1 more than Wii U. But tellingly Wii U has had an extra year to build up the game library.
PS4 has the highest scoring game of all the consoles (TLOUR 95).
Wii U has the highest scoring game that is only available on a new gen console (SM3DW 93).
Wii U has the highest scoring new IP* (Shovel knight 88)
PS4 has the highest scoring exclusive new IP (Velocity 2X 87, it is available on PSV)
Xb one has highest scoring AAA new IP not available on other new gen consoles (Titanfall 86)
Of course games that have not released yet aren't in the list, and the big names for each console are LBP3, Halo MCC and SSB. It is all but guaranteed that each of these games will review above 75. But it doesn't really change things much, except for the Halo, LBP or SSB fans. I have added Minecraft Xb one edition even though it's not out yet because it has a meta score already. And of course my personally most anticipated game of 2014 isn't there to pad out the PS4/Xb one list: Dragon Age Inquisition.
So there you have it. As objective as it gets in this industry. Anyone claiming Xb one or Wii U has the best library of games is being a download only snob. Anyone claiming PS4 doesn't have a decent game library to justify a purchase is full of shit. If you want to argue, take it up with Metacritic.
Edit: added Alien Isolation to Xb one column.
*Any game that has main characters such as Mario, Link, Rayman, etc in is isn't really a new IP IMO. More like an IP extension.
