I'm actually pretty dissapointed with it. I loved my Wii and expected WIi U to surpass it, but that's not the case. I use mine currently to play Wii and VC games.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

I love my Wii U, for different reasons.

First, i was able to play Wii games i missed.

Second, The web browser is the best. Every day when i go to bed i start up my Wii U and use the browser. Its fast and its easy to type with because of the touchpad+stylus. As far as web navigation goes, its just alot more usable that any other system.

Third, just like with the gamecube, theres alot of gems that only come out on Nintendo systems. I love the selection of exclusive software. I was never a huge fan of multi-plat games because i feel they dilute the focus necessary to make a better product that focus on the hardware its beeing created for. I think games like Bayonetta 2 and Mario Kart 8 are proof of how you can achieve so much more on the graphical level if you only focus on one platform.

Yes, it is basically my secondary system, but at the moment its the most used (even though it isnt for gaming purposes), but its exclusive offer makes it well worthwhile and i'm satified. Would i like for there to me more games? Well, sure, who wouldnt (its not like the competition is doing better on the exclusive department)? Do i miss multi-plats? Nope, its not the reason why i bought a Wii U in the first place.

I love that it's mostly ad-free and has a clean UI

Nintendo's D-pads are way better then what's offered on the competition -- this is really important for 2D platformers. I like the symmetrical style of control.

There's some games out there I feel like I enjoy more being on a Nintendo console like Bit.Trip Runner 2.

Call me crazy, but the scarcity of releases I think puts me in the mood to treasure the games for WiiU moreso than if I were gaming on another console with a constant stream of releases.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Mario 3d World alone makes me love the Wii U

I actually like the off TV play and use it a lot. My room is right above the famliy room so I'm able to stream from the gamepad lounging on my family room couch even when the folks are watching TV, and still enjoy on my slick bedroom HDTV. Little thing but neat regardless. Of course there is the usual quality of Nintendo's titles, though it's more of a Gamecube situation where I actually (currently at least) enjoy more of the third party games than Nintendo stuff, and it helps that I can pick them up super cheap.. Gamepad functionality (asymmetrical gameplay I believe is what they call it) is kind of cool at times, but unneeded at times. Overall pretty neutral on that aspect. Like the DS, depends on the game. And finally, Nintendo in HD is pretty glorious, and long overdue..

I love WiiU because Nintendo makes the best games. That is all

Because, as I love Nintendo exclusives, it is the best console to go with my PC.

Mainly due to Nintendo first party software. But I have thoroughly enjoyed every game I have bought for the WiiU. The gamepad is cool but not always in use unless I'm on Netflix.
The console is pretty much an all enjoyed gaming machine. Donkey Kong Country is my favorite all time franchise and its on WiiU, and of course Mario Kart rocks.
