While I wouldn't be AGAINST a Metroid Prime 4, I might even eventually get stoked for it, it's not what I WANT from the series.

Nor do I ever want to see anything resembling Other M, at all, ever again. That goes without saying, the game was dogshit.

What I DO want, though what might well (sadly) have the least chance of actually happening, is to see an honest to god Super Metroid style game, ON Wii U, IN full HD, side scrolling, with gorgeous hand-drawn sprites (ala Vanillaware games), a huge world to explore, NONE of the linearity of Fusion (though it was an okay game, it was kind of a let-down). A for christ's sake, a simple, but decent, METROID-like story. No more of this "make Samus talk and force-feed players a contrived 'character' of hers" anymore. That was awful.

So yeah. That's what I would explode with happiness to see, a real, legit, huge, and gorgeous 2D Metroid. And I have a feeling I wouldn't be alone in that excitement, at all.

Out of all that, I think we are most likely, if any, to see an F-Zero, and (I HOPE) a new Wave Race. And HD Wave Race, with the same strong gameplay as the last two, would make me do backflips for sure. Or at least attempt them.

I would LOVE to see, though I know many disagree, a Super Paper Mario sequel. I loved the first, and would love to see another in that style.

I also would totally be on board with another Endless Ocean, in gorgeous HD, IF (big if), they actually bothered to add more to DO in the fucking game. I played the first two, and they were good games. There simply wasn't enough to DO, and I lost interest. Give me way more to explore, and more importantly, give me lots of TREASURE and shit to find/collect, give the game some better mission structure, basically just a far more fleshed out experience, and I'd totally be up for a third one.

Hopefully next year, but most likely 2016.

Seriously though, Nintendo just needs to double their software output. They have a multitude of games they can make.

I have a hunch it's a Metroid Prime Hunters game using bounty hunters outside of Samus and is in development by NST.

Nintendo's kind of hinted at this a couple of times now (revisiting the Hunters idea).
