Nintendo exclusives XD oh and bayonetta 2 since the hack and slash genre is near dead.

The sad reality. Ninja Gaiden's popularity and quality has nosedived, and Capcom (in saying they aren't going to make sequels to games that don't sell 2 mill +) have pretty much confirmed DmC is dead. Maybe The Devil's Third and Bayo will bring some love back to the genre.

Luckily we have Hellblade is you also own a ps4 and perhaps another GOW, but all of that is far from being released.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

What a trendy mom. She knows what's up!

Yup. She beat the first Super Mario Brothers at the age of 65. Only took her 15 years, but through constant play every night she persevered and did it. That's what's up

I hope you're not being ironic, because that sounds awesome.

I ended up just buying it for her.

Ohhh, of course. I feel like I remember this thread.

Hellblade does look good, didn't know it was a hack and slash. Good news for PS4 owners. I wonder what they will do for GOW? I think by this point they are going to have to reboot it. Kratos killed to many of the known Greek Gods, only the most obscure would be left. It'll be interesting to see.

Price, it was the first one to reach my breaking point 250 U$ without a game or 300 U$ with a game that I want
Games, I really like Nintendo exclusive games as they offer good gameplay and it has enough now to interest me
Free Online, I really don't want to pay for online as it is something that I don't do very often anyway
Backward compatibility, I still have a few Wii games that I want to play and the control compatibility reduced the price to play with my friends

Except for the free online, which I don't care since I don't do online multiplayer, those are also my exact reasons.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

To play the best games.

I bought it because it will get Zelda. When you strip it down to the bare basics, that's pretty much the reason why I buy every Nintendo system. Of course, I also bought it because I know all the big Nintendo titles will be instant classics, with awesome experiences.

I bought it at launch solely because I was curious. I figured it didn't matter much whether I buy it then or next year, but I wanted to experience how the GamePad feels.

I bought it at launch for the promise of Smash Bros in the future. Ironically enough, i prob wont even be getting smash bros for the wiiu now that i got it on 3ds -_-

ZombiU and Nintendo games in glorious HD-O-Vision

Bayonetta 2.

I was not really interested in Wii U very much, except curious of the gamepad. The spring after it has launched it became quite cheap so I bought a basic one for $230 including 25% VAT, which is VERY, VERY cheap for my country: Sweden. As most games fell in price very fast I bought a lot for about $20 - $30. Then I bought one for my son who was going to make a quiz game for eShop, also VERY cheap. Then I bought a Premium because I needed one for the family room and one for my "gaming" room. This was also cheap: $280.

Free Online, I really don't want to pay for online as it is something that I don't do very often anyway

The reason I was not that interested from the beginning was that my favourite games are not yet released: Animal Crossing, LoZ, Trauma Center, Endless Ocean, Pilotwings, Fire Emblem, 3D Mario, Paper Mario and others. Hopefully the best times for my Wii U:s are still to come.

The Quiz game? Well he got  a job and has not got the time anymore, he claims. It was about 50% ready.

I would consider Playstation or Xbox if they were cheap enough and had games that I want.
