Forums - Website Topics - Can Not Add Wii U Games to Profile

Yeah I made my account and I love my wii U so i searched for all my games and found none. Decided to not add anything if I can't add my Wii U games.

I always wondered this, but I just wanted to know if I could add pics of games or reviews of games like I did with MK8 earlier.

I have known this year for months, if not years...

Yeah this has been an issue for quite a while...

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

My recommendation to you is to use a different website to keep track of the games you own. The feature has been broken on this site for some time and it is not going to be fixed.

I started using GameFAQs, their database is amazing. You even get recommendations for games you don't own based on other people with similar collections.

Yep, that is the website I use too.

Are you saying you use the feature to see people with similar collections to see what games they own that you don't?

I don't blame you.  It is ridiculous that what used to be one of the main features of this site no longer works correctly.

When you go to a game page (say Fire Emblem Awakening), there will be a list of recommended games, games you don't own. That list is made by looking at everyone who has this game in their collection, and recommending the game which most appears that you don't own.

e.g. If 90% of Fire Emblem Awakening owners also own Advance Wars Dual Strike for DS, but you don't, it will be the #1 recommended game for you.

Oh, ok.  Like at the bottom of the home page for each game?  The section that says "Games You May Like"?  I didn't know that was generated by other users collections.

Everyone has this issue.

Message the site admin ioi, if enough people complain maybe he'll do something. I've been bugging him for months, and he just won't spare the time, nor give me the power to fix this issue.

The only way to add some of these buggy games (not limited to WiiU) is to track them, and then from your tracked games select add. I wish I could permanently fix this issue, but I cannot.

do you know why newer games dont have box arts? who adds games and box arts now used to be a community thing everyone would contribute

Yea, everyone can contribute on Gamewise, but not all games will exist on the database once added (just to sales).
