This year many games have already released. So now is the right time to ask, what is your GOTY of the year so far? Do you think it will remain your GOTY 2014, or will it be dethroned in the next 3 months? Since the volume of games released this year is huge, I've limited the poll to just a select few games which I think may be many people favourite game of the year.

Tricky topic as this year has been a highly contentious year for video games, with so many failing to live up to the hype. I put inFamous: Second Son as it was a game that delivered graphically and was immense fun to play. I enjoy Destiny, but it remains to be seen how long that lasts.

Last years was a no brainer, and had you not included the additional conditions at the end I would probably have gone with last years winner again.

Either Mario Kart 8 or Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze.
