bigtakilla said: Monolith Soft. They were a throw away developer for many studios, having both Xenogears and Xenosaga rushed to their completion (which was very noticeable if you played the series). After they were acquired by Nintendo, they seem to not only have been trusted in handling Nintendo's major franchises (such as their help in the development of Skyward Sword, A Link Between Worlds, Animal Crossing New Leaf, and Pikmin 3), but have released what is widely regarded as the greatest JRPG of 7th gen with Xenoblade Chronicles. This is a MAJOR feat considering how far removed from the rest of the series the game actually is. |
Pretty much this. And even along what you were saying, Namco literally threw them away to nintendo.
Like it or not, Bioware has been a very good acquisition for EA.
Please excuse my bad English.
Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070
Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.
My list would be:
1. Santa Monica Studio (Sony): GOW series
2. DMA aka Rockstar North (Take 2 Interactive): GTA series
3. Bioware (EA): ME series, DA series
4. Naughty Dog (Sony): J&D series, Uncharted series
Zipper Inter... wait, no. Psygno... damnit, no. Naughty Dog! Yea! Also Guerrilla Games and Sucker Punch (may be a bit early to say that one?).

I'm pretty certain Santa Monica was never purchased. That studio was created by SONY.

Hehe, and the post below yours says Bioware for EA. Which has indeed been a very good acquisition for them. |
Not for me. They completely ruined Dragon Age. Even Mass Effect 3 was pretty disappointing. Their games have been focusing less and less on RPG elements and more on action.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
