WW. Most certainly. We're talking about an excellent game series with a deeply devoted fanbase, wide appeal, and a peak buying season. First week 1 million WW for Smash U seems too easy.

3DS has a 16m+ userbase in Japan and it just hit 1m, you think with Wiiu's 2m~ will do the same ...

WW definitely, in Japan? Never. The 3DS version is going to seriously eat into the Wii U versions sales over there, way more than in the rest of the world.

Do you believe those 1 million will buy the game again on Wii U?, that's assuming those who have a 3DS, own a Wii U as well.

Japan? No. WW? Easily. I do not believe the 3DS version is going to hurt the Wii U at all (outside of Japan). In fact I think the opposite. 3DS hype is only going to bolster the Wii U's sales.

50% attach rate week one is a bit ambitious. Worldwide it should have a shot, it might not be as big a franchise as Mario Kart but it has the benefit of releasing during the holidays and on a slightly bigger installed base.
We'll see whether or not the 3DS version has had any effect on it though, 1 million FW even globally might be tough if this is the case.

Not in Japan but WW, sure!

MK8 bearly did it but that was during the beginning of summer where the sales are usually aveage but SSB for wiiU will come out during the holidays which = higher sales than MK8's time. Not saying it will outsell MK8, just saying it has a high chance in selling 1 million than if it were to come out at any other time

I'm 50:50 on either worldwide, or not at all.
