also imo LTTP is one of those games that never age. gameplay is still above anything else we see today and the graphics are ageless

One of my favorite games of all time. As well designed as any game I've ever played. I really need to play it again.

Good review. I'd have gone all the way with a "10" score personally, since a ten doesn't literally mean perfect in my book, but 9.8 is quite fitting.

To this day I have trouble deciding which game I like better - this, or the original 8-bit Zelda. If I look at what the game industry was upon their release and the impact they had, I side with the original (plus, you got a second quest out of it). But if I go purely by content and timeless appeal, then A Link to the Past is the victor.

Either way, they're my two favorite games of all time.

At last. Someone who agrees with me about ALTTP being the best in the series. Most people nominate OoT, MM or even some more recent ones over ALTTP, but I could never really see them as toping this masterpiece. 

This is a well-written fair review, it is gaming perfection for me.
