Still one of my favorite games ever.

It's got that right mix of survival, mazes and puzzles for me. I feel like Zelda relies too much on puzzles sometimes..and although 2D Zelda combat isn't very in-depth or show-boaty, it can surprisingly be tricky to survive. All it needs is a harder difficulty or something and it'd be perfect. But then again, it has minimalist runs, which are absolute hell if you're looking for challenge.

But then again I don't like Ocarina of Time (haven't played 3DS) when I played it on Wii at 2008 but a lot of people like it so I guess I know how you feel.

Sometimes, people just don't connect with certain games. Can't be helped, lol. I have a friend who hates Super Metroid :p

I didn't think it was boring, but in my list of Zelda Games I rank this 4th. Ocarina of Time, Skyward Sword, and Link's Awakening were more enjoyable than A Link to the Past to me, but it's still an awesome game. The music score alone is one of the most beautiful scores ever in Video Game history!! Also I think story wise it's possibly the best out of all Zelda's.

It's a very (and I mean very) good game. It's pretty much near perfection.

Yeah, I never owned a SNES back in the day, and it hasnt come out on 3DS yet either.... but I did play albw :D what I really wanna do is buy it for the SNES, since my gf has one

Definitely a good game but I think a lot of people are overrating it's value since it's far from a masterpiece in my eyes but it's still a good game nonetheless.
