At least there's comfort those franchises will not be exclusive to one console.

I hope it doesn't go through. Some of these companies are becomong too powerful and that's never a good thing.

Atleast EA would allow Rockstar to put some dev time into the games.  A lot of people bash EA, but there are so many publishers out there that are far worse, and I'm not just talking about Activision, but Deep Silver, Warner Bros, etc. 

Look how long it's been since EA bought UFC and they've finally released the game.  Exclusive for next gen also so they're not holding gaming back like some devs.

Makes sense considering they have no sports IP to take on EA Sports.

Adding GTA to a bucket thats full to the brim with Call of Duty, World of Warcraft and Destiny would pretty much put Acti-Blizz at the top of the mountain when it comes to mainstream gaming too.

Don't think that is possible, some real creative accounting they have. Or some crazy stuff is happening in the company. wouldn't be the first time big corporations would waste their money although I hoped after multiple crisis situations that companies would stop. Nevertheless I think take two is fine, hopefully

COD games get 3 year develpment cycles now.

Console gaming industry is gonna be limited to like 5 companies now. Sad.
