You never touch it. Besides a pad-less sku is out of the question. A smaller pad SKU is a possibility because of the new 3DS

feels weird holding it, to wide apart. To used to the old way... two decades of it, and they choose to screw with what works.
I like the pad. Its really useful and it doesnt ruin the gameplay like the simplicity of the Wii remote.

First things first. Hands down every main Nintendo IP out ranks first party on other platforms. Hands down, the games are well designed and aren't rushed. They are considered premiums in their designed genre. The controller is perfect in every way for people with LARGE HANDS. The DS4 is a kids toy that feels as awkward as the PS3 controller. And I feel sorry for you being unable to pick up the pad after picking up the DS4. Truly supirior controller on the Wii U (Aside from the Gamecube controller) The console wouldn't benefit from a pad-less sku and for fact it would make the Wii U pretty much useless. Many people suggest this but the way the Wii U is designed the second you lose that pad you broke the WIi U. No people wouldn;t like it better without the gamepad. They would like it better if more of these third parties properly ported games to the console and if there was more first party. The Wii U pro controller is based on a 360 design (Which is supirior in ergonomics to all PS controllers). I don't even get why you don't want one. I've seen many people say that they can't use 360 or PS3 pads after touching it. |
Sorry cant take any of that serious after that massive load of BS.
I personally like the GamePad! It's comfortable and watching porn on it feels amazing!

Too each their own, but reviews tell the truth. So if you can't agree with anything I said then I guess you have no taste in gaming.

that the issue it ruins it for me, id bet same goes for many potential wiiu bueyrs.
I fall in love with playin cod with a gamepad and still playin bop2 in wiiu and ghost in ps4. Its Nintendo failure to educate the gamepad maybe?

or you know give people a fraking choice, even MS wised up and make a kinect less sku.
Forcing consumer into a single option is not wise especially when its not proven to work.

Games hardly use the touch pad options, its not a problem at all, and its actually quite useful for managing inventory or having a map on it so you dont have to constantly pause the game. If its such a problem just get one of those Xbox like gamepads, but unlike the Wii remote, the gamepad doesnt subtract to your gameplay experience, it adds to it. You are beeing picky imo. :)
The failure of the Wii U is that it doesnt appeal to the average gamer because it lost that simplicity of the Wii remote, wich is bad for gamers but good for casuals. Nintendo just went back to catering for the Gamecube audience wich is hardcore gamers that also like Nintendo games. Wether that is a mistake is open to interpretation but i guess they really wanted to strike a good in-between, but it didnt go so well.
