So earlier me and my friend were discussing which of the two Vanillaware games on Vita is better. Personally, I'm a Muramasa fan through and through, and the genre of the game is more up my street, but she just couldn't agree with me. She was saying that Dragon's Crown is hand's down their best game EVER, and that basically I was a fool for thinking otherwise. What do you guys think? Which one do you prefer? Obviously they're two different genres so it might not be that easy to compare, but I think most people would be able to say they like one over the other.

That is tough...I really enjoyed both games from game play and artistic perspective. I might give a slight edge to Dragon's Crown, but that is only due to multi player couch co-op fun I had with it. Makes me think I cannot wait for another Vanillaware game!

Hm.. I couldn't play Muramasa on higher than "muso" (well, until I got the zero skill cost item, with that one ofcourse there is no difference between difficulty lvls) and on that one it's pretty dull, so imo it lacks a lvl between muso and shura

As for Dragon's Crown,I only really played it with the Amazon and for a long time I felt I did nothing, while the AI party is doing everything for me. That changed a bit when I got to do the "solo boss x" quests and the discovery quests and rune magic stuff made the game more interesting to me, but in the end I was content with finishing it on normal and doing all quests.

Dragon's crown. its easier to get into. after you finish that get Muramasa, its more linear and story based so you'd take your time with it.

Loved Dragon's Crown and Muramasa both. However, I lean more towards Dragon's Crown because I felt it was a bit easier to get familiar with it.

Interesting to see that the general consensus in the posts is for Dragon's Crown - especially to see that one of the reasons some are saying it is because it's more accessible. I personally found it much less welcoming to new players than Muramasa was...

I preferred Muramasa over Dragon's Crown

Hmmm Muramasa is great but doesn't fit the Vita as good as Dragon's Crown.. DC is much better for shorter bursts of playing

They're both different. I liked Muramasa better for a single player experience.

I've been playing Dragon's Crown for about 10 hours, and it's pretty good. I have not played Marumasa yet, however.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.
