Forums - Gaming Discussion - Dat Nintendo Cash Grab!

Wasn't it like 50$ or something?

Around the Network

I dont know what you're talking about.
Wind Waker HD was 49,99€ here in germany at release and TLOU:R is around the same (currently 54,95€ on amazon germany).
Maybe im missing the point, but there is no big price difference at all.

You cant compare remakes like TLOU:R and WW HD to those HD collections, because most (if not all) of them just have a higher resolution, but the textures aren't updated. So there is quite a big difference between those two kinds of remakes.

If you're interested in Nintendo content and understand german, maybe you want to take a look at my youtube channel! :)

People were criticizing TLoU:R so you compare WW HD to an HD collection nobody was criticizing.

If anything is a Nintendo cash grab, it's the fact they they constantly release two different versions of all their pokemon games to force completionists to spend more money lol

Sly collection, Jak collection, Ratchet and Clank collection. Each of them cost 40$. That's one glorious library for 120 dollars!

TLOUR was 50 dollars in US, 38 pounds in UK and 42 euros in EU.

It's free with Mario Kart 8, nothing is cheaper than that.

The three of them retail at full price here in Australia so I assumed it costs $60 in the US.

Wind Waker HD was $49.99 in the US or $59.99 for the LE Ganon Bundle

"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.

I don't think we're supposed to mention that. It's against the rules and this is one cashgrab that's A OK

Bit of a difference between a remaster of a game a decade old and a remaster of a game that's barely a year old.

Having said that, I never condoned Wind Waker HD.
