guardians of the galaxy was such a fun movie. What made the movie so fun was the charming characters. It was the first time I've ever heard of any of the characters. I don't read comics. The action parts were also pretty good. I like vin disel and I'm glad he was a part of the project,but it was a pretty easy pay day for him. lol   I am groot!!!!!!

everyone loves this movie it seems its getting a lot of hype ..could you tell me why people compare it so much to star wars ?

Did you watched it in 3d? I kinda don't wanna watch 3d anymore.. A lot of them aren't worth the extra money

It's not a superhero movier per se.  It's more of a space opera, like Star Wars.

Also, Raccoon and Groot are somewhat like Han Solo and Chewbacca.

It actually had some pretty good 3D effects in my opinion and I'm not a big 3D. that just happened to be the only option at the time,that I wanted to see it. 

When I watched it,I never once thought of star wars. I guess you could say the main evil guy was kind of like a darth vadar,but not really. 

What do you mean, he had to expand the vocab to "we are groot" at the end...

Do agree, the movie was entertaining.

Damn you.. Its showing in IMAX 3D which makes it even more expensive.. Gonna check how many movies i have left on my prepaid card.. (you get an x number of movies for a fixed price and have to use them within 1 year.. Saves me 3 euros per movie but for 3d i have to pay extra)

For me the only similarity to star wars is that the film is ambitious with lots of settings, varied characters and it pulls off this new universe in the first film, just like star wars did.

Easy? Not at all. He did all the motion capture for Groot, as opposed to Bradley Cooper who just did the voice for his character. I hate that many people have this misconception.
