Yeah my first time as well :/ really nervous. I don't want to lose because I voted for the wrong person/people :(. Sucks not being able to PM anyone so I can't really ask anyone advice. Other than OP that is that was super helpful with some questions before game start. Will have to learn from experience, I suppose. If I can beat old arcade games I should be able to figure this out hopefully.

First day always sucks since we can't really go off anything. What do you guys think we should do?

Run in the complete opposite direction to everyone else in search of treasure.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

shit is there treasure? Is digging for treasure a real option? I wonder if there are immunity idols hidden around like in that one show about people traveling to exotic locations where other people have been living for hundreds of years and trying to "survive" there.

I get why tomes burn through pages so quickly, but are smiths really so imperfect in our world that most swords break after swinging them 40 times or so? Can someone fill me in on this?

It loses it's potency and the effects of clashing on armor speed up the dulling process.

Isn't that what wet stones are for? Seems like a better alternative to having to buy an entirly new sword.

Iron is some brittle stuff, and snaps easily against steel armor.

Steel has no excuse. In fact, now that I think of it, why does the stronger material get destroyed much sooner than the inferior material? And what exactly is an iron or steel bow supposed to look like anyways? Shit's deep, man!

We live in a world where steel is outclassed by silver as far as weapon strength goes. Just go with it.

And yet, Silver is the strongest of all.

Some things I'll never understand.

Ahem... I just made that point.

Very suspicious ConeGamer. Very suspicious indeed.

Well that part makes perfect sense. It's an allegory, much like the original Wizard of Oz and Dorothy's silver (not ruby!) slippers: silver represents the wealth of the elite - which is clearly powerful - but also its illusory and transient nature, e.g. bankruptcy, stock market mechanations, or a proletariat uprising. Therefore, it's the most temporary of the weapon classes as well. As I said before, deep.

Alternatively, foes could just be so awestruck at your wastefulness that they're distracted and vulnerable.
