In other news, the NFL wants a franchise in London...

The London Ex-Patriots!

It's been a while coming. I wouldn't mind except for the fact that travel time would be absolutely brutal. We already whine about West Coast teams travelling to the East Coast: adding another six hours+ to the flight time won't do anyone any favors.

But it's not six hours, it's only five!

Eh, five and a half, at least from San Diego. Pedant.

Well, it wouldn't be that bad for a team to travel to London once in a while, but you need to consider that the London-based team would have to travel to the US 8 times every year (or even more if they make it to the playoffs).

Good point the travel will be more brutal for the team that will actually be located in London.  That being said I'm pretty sure they will get a team within the next ten years.  Having a team in Mexico City or Toronto would be nice also I'm pretty sure both of those cities have enough NFL fans to support a team.

LA will get a team long before a team goes to London. It is pretty sad LA does not have a team truthfully.

While this is 8 years away I think some other major cities in the US should be considered for an NFL team before London gets one.

An NFL team in London would be pretty cool. If that happens, I predict its removal from the league within three years because all sorts of people will be pissed. It would be hilarious to watch for the entire duration.

The British would be mad, or Americans? The number of games in Britain seems to be going up every year which sponsors this idea of an NFL team in London. It makes sense because the games sell out.  Thankfully, Denver is a good team that sells out the stadium so that we never have to go to London.

London should get a team.

We English deserve our chance to be World Champions.

The NFL's already conquered the US Market, they want a foothold in Europe.
