If we are talking only about 2D platformers then I agree 100%! Rayman Legends is easily the best 2D platformer I've played in ages!

Ubisoft abusing of indie term again.

Hardly surprising.

Even though Ancel is responsible for rayman first designs, I'm not sure of whatever he actually did for the games. But more AA is always good.

Well NSMBU is shit, but 3D World is pretty good. Rayman Legends is good as well. Still think DK is the best though

okay yeah,. i was talking 2D platformers.  3D platformers is a different genre to me but when i say platformers i mean 2D.  3D platformers get labeled as action adventure in my head.

Good for Ancel. And interestingly enough the studio Wild Sheep will unveil it's game at Sony's conference a Gamescom according to Neogaf. Waiting in anticipation.



So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

that is fast.   have they been working on it a while?  being that this thread popped up today i guess i thought this move was quite recent.

..or neogaf is wrong.

There have been rumors of Ancel leaving Ubisoft since the Rayman Legends debacle (He didn't want it delayed).

Judging by how long BG&E2 has been in development a long time and that Ubisoft had once OK'd Ancel's vision for Legends to be Wii U exclusive, I figure Ubisoft lets Ancel do pretty much whatever he wants.

I guess we'll find out soon if Wild Sheep has something to announce already or not.
