Forums - Microsoft Discussion - EA Announces Subscription Service On Xbox One: EA Access

This sounds too good to be true. EA recently added three free fighters to their UFC game as well so I'm going to go with the theory that I'm in another dimension. I'd definitely sign up for this as I play fifa at different times throughout the year and with the addition of games like dragon age inquisition and battlefield this is awesome.

So this pretends to be better than PlayStation Now? While I like the sound of this, it has EA on its name. They're trying to prove they can do what Sony can't, and that is providing a library of games for a single subscription fee. Most of the games available now are sports games, so that makes the beta unappealing for now. Let's see how this unfolds.

This could be big. Lets see what other games they bring to the table. This is obviously a knock to the preowned market.

For $30 a year this is amazing. Madden 25 alone would cost $65.

It would be even cooler if we could play EA 360 games on the Xbox One digitally. I wonder if it is possible.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

This isn't really a streaming service AFAIK.

Your move, steam.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Whoa..if this becomes what they promise i'll definitely get it.

I wonder why EA makes these things exclusive. the PC and PS4 market are both bigger than the XB1 market, so why is it XB1 exclusive? Also, the price is insanely low, I can see it going up if this will become popular.

EDIT: Can someone remind me to never go to IGN again? The comment section over there is always pure aids.

Sounds alright. I don't really understand what it means to be "connected to the EA Vault" though. How many games would they be adding for you to access any time for just $30 a year?
