Is it really too much to ask from Xbox fans to not post in threads about games that they have no interest in buying, especially when all they do is downplay ps games? At this point , guys, some of you are beyond transparent. And if you see me doing this same on Halo threads, please feel free to point it out.

Just ignore them. It's what I've learned to do.

You're absolutely right. I should and I'll try my best to follow your example from now.

Can't believe some people, it's almost as if they can sense when a game goes from 60fps to 58fps. Meanwhile I can only see the difference when it drops below 26 fps.

Perhaps you ARE disappointed but you're jsut affraid to say ...

Not really disappointed in my opinion 30fps suits the game much better and if I get it I would definitely choose the 30fps version with better shadows.

It was an oblique reference to something someone else said in this thread :)

Opps sorry.

I've yet to see any complaint from anyone who was going to buy the game anyway.

There also isn't much praise. That leads to me believe there is some disappointment.

I have to say I'm pleased with how steady the framerate seems.  I thought it would struggle, the avg fps seem very close to the intended mark of 60.  COD Ghost and BF4 struggle to hit 60 fps more thatn LOUR by the looks of these videos.

Honestly I'm embaraased to be a gamer sometimes because of how ballistic we go over framerate and resolution if you tried explaining it to a regular person they would look at you funny. I honestly don't care for fps or resolution as long as the game plays good, and people who can tell the difference between 47fps and 60Fps or 54fps or any other weird ass fps then that's crazy and I don't believe you.

The funny thing is that people that appear in every PS4 thread and saying rare dips to 50 fps are significant and dissappointing are the ones claiming that a 28 fps game with frequent dips to 16 fps was a technical marvel. I am fine as long as it is steady 30 fps with rare dips, anything higher is just icing on the cake.

You felt the need to point out people not buying it are complaining.

So I simply responded by saying avid fans are likely disappointed but staying silent for obvious reasons.

Well what I said was a certainty, while what you said is a possibility, since you know its not released until tommorow.

Since its a possibility, you can say whatever you want and nobody can say otherwise. But I could say with just as much conviction that avid fans aren't saying anything because they don't care enough to be dissapointed or at the very least aren't dissapointed enough to warrant talking about it.

No possibility, people are disappointed its not locked at 60 fps. But that doesn't mean the experience is ruined and people aren't going to buy it.

I'm disappointed with what Destiny is shaping up to be. But I'm still gonna buy it.

Hence, being disappointed doesn't mean you've lost all interest.

Why someone that cares 0% about the game original or remaster and/or despise the console feels the urge to enter every single thread to downplay the game and/or console??? And worst they complain about people being defensive. Or equals vocal to fanboy and silent to disapointed, as if there isn't ever a good option.
Do you have no better things to do like play in your preferred console?
I understand this kind of behaviour on comparison threads or threads that involve multiple consoles, but on a thread concerning a thing you have 0 interest? Or is trolling the second form of envy, the purest form of praise?

This is valid for TLOU, halo, mk and all related fan threads. Keep the flames and war to threads geared towards it.

You have no idea how many of these "avid fans" are dissapointed, so their is certainity in that there is at least one, but possibility in the percentage of the fanbase.. Hence stating it as a general claim is unfounded, "some avid fans" would be appropriate as you have no idea how many and assuming its general implies a significangt number.

I didn't claim I knew the exact number of people disappointed. But clearly the frame dips deterred people from doing the usual boasting about "Naughtygod".

Anyhow, I've spent too much time in this thread. You can respond with the last word if you'd like.

They should have lowered the resolution to achieve the constant 60fps.
