Yeah they need to work on that People are getting tired of Gears and Halo.

Are they though? lol Halo seems to be the only thing people will buy an Xbox for. And Gears is far away so I wouldn't know, but Gears 3 was a masterpiece.

People aren't sick of Halo yet but if they release too many then I think people will. And I'm sure people are getting tired of Gears based on the sales of Gow Judgement. But my main point is that MS needs a new big IP. They won't accept the same Halo, Gears, and Forza games  only again this gen.

I think the problem with Gears Judgment was that it didn't advance the story or really add anything new. It basically reinforced what we already knew unlike Halo Reach. Reach told a story that would mainly be known to those that read the books and even then it was a bit different. I think if they continue the Gears story it could be great which will be hard after how final it all seemed after Gears 3.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

Gears of War 3 wasn't a Masterpiece.  It had the lowest Game Ranking's score of any game in the series other than the incredibly mediocre Judgement which only scored in the 70s.  The Masterpiece and Overall Game of the Year for 2012, the year Gears 3 released, was ThatGameCompany's Journey exclusively on the World's Finest Seventh Gen Console Sony's Playstation 3.

Did you play it?

I played the first one.  It was like a less colorful version of Vizion Eck with worse music and without the Portal elements and the series' Metacritic and Gamerankings' scores fall off dramatically from there.

Wow a barrage of third party games. You could say the same thing for Sony, but at the same time Sony has made high profile AAA's than MS was even capable of purchasing from outside companies.

That stealth edit tho!

That's the usual stuff... it ain't nothing new!!

Vizion Eck?? Hahaha! Man that's good. So to answer my question you didn't play it. Ok.

QB, maybe sunset overdrive.... But why would they create competition for halo MCC 2014, halo5 2015, gears 2016... They are set for now....

Kinect adventures 2, coming out in the near future.
Why they bothered with Sports instead of adventures confuses me.

IMO I believe that ScaleBound could reach 1 million LT on Xbox One, although a lot depends on MS Marketing and the appeal of the game still have to wait on actual gameplay though.

Well I believe the answer is simple :) None.
I mean, maybe they have preparing or working on something that will eventually become a Halo/Gears but until then, they have nothing else.

That being said they got a ton of other franchise: Fable, Forza, PGR, Kameo, Brute Force, Age of Empires, etc... that can be somewhat compared to Gears at least, maybe not to Halo

Lionhead also has new IP in the works.
