I went through a phase when trophies were introduced where I worked to get them, but I found it made games more work than just enjoying them. So, past few years I don't even think about it and many games I love barely have any trophies on (especially multi player or online trophies).

How could anyone take it into consideration? Any game on Xbox and Playstation has them. Nintendo is the odd one out but the question between Sony/MS and Nintendo is a very different one than trophies.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Besides tits and ass, yes they are the most important part of games. Games without them usually get no attention from me. I rather watch TV or Netflix than play something that nobody would know I did. Now if I'm playing with kids, the Wii and Dses will get the most play time. I wouldn't want them seeing my tits and ass infested games.

As soon as I get my Xbox One, I probably will buy more arcade games from them seeing as the 1k Gamerscore is a better deal than PS trophies with no plat.

Still I love trophies/achievements, but they are not the end all, be all. I mostly play fighting games without platting them because I'm in it for the fun with matches in such.
