PS4 failed so badly...

Forums - Sony Discussion - PS4 failed so badly...

they usually brag about the very high quality of the 1st party releases, not about sales of games....

Massive flop, should be discontinued tomorrow.

Fanboys don't go out of their way to show their preferred console manufacturer in a bad light.

Its only natural for COD to sell the most on ps4 as it will become the more dudebro console this gen as there is just more hype for the ps4 and its selling a lot more than the one. These types of people don't care for infamous and knack.

You're not a fanboy if you say anything negative about your platform. You're merely a fan, so don't flatter yourself.

You're right.
:.(.
I've bought Wii U recently.

Am I a traitor now?

ps.: alsow I have PS2 yellow, PS3 60GB FAT, PS3 slim white, PSVITA, PS4 (looking forward to buy PS4 white - just for a collection)

Titanfall and DR3 aren't X1 exclusives. So the X1 list only has 2/10 games as exclusives.

Wii U list has 10/10 exclusives, but out of those 1 is third-party. So it has 9/10 first-party exclusives.

PS4 has 3/10 exclusives, all of which are first-party.

First of all: I'm a huge Playstation fanboy.

2nd: Playstation fanboys are always so proud of first party titles.

Having said that let's look at the numbers for this gen:

(exclusive count for top selling games)

PS4: 3 out of 10 (top selling exclusive #5)

XBOX: 4/10 (top selling exclusive #1)

WII U: 10/10 (no comment)

excuse them for not pushing Puppeteer, GT6, tLoU, Sly Thieves in Time, GoW Ascension, and Beyond 2 Souls onto PS4 and instead supporting the PS3 to the very end and beyond

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

Sony failed badly? the so called "exclusive top selling games" on xbox one arent actually exclusive. they are also on pc. what are you on about?

Clearly, as the N64, GameCube, and Wii U has shown first party exclusives don't win console wars.

In this day and age, with the Internet, ignorance is a choice! And they're still choosing Ignorance! - Dr. Filthy Frank

I'm not a huge Playstation fanboy, and I don't really think they failed. They haven't impressed me much yet, but they haven't failed. They're doing better than PS3 at least, which had 1/10 exclusives in the top ten. And better than the PS2 for that matter, which had 4/10, but 2 of them were bought ought Square Enix RPGs. 360 had 3/10 as well, and those consisted of Halo and the bundled Kinect game. As others have said, Microsoft isn't really leading either, as 2 of those aren't really exclusives. The PS4 currently has 3 genuinely first party developed games in their top 10, better than any non-Nintendo home console system since generation 6. Non-Nintendo systems have never been known as 1st party game sellers, so their success shouldn't be measured by how well 1st party games sell compared to 3rd party.
