I would like Nintendo to buy them, but its not who I want to buy them, but who is ABLE to buy them.

Sony cant afford it, no ifs or buts.
Nintendo CAN afford them but after all their recent reorganising and that $100 million acquisition its doubtful.
Microsoft can easily afford them, but I dont think Japan would let a non-japanese company buy them.

i can see what youre saying about miyamoto, but if he were really excited to make a megaman game and really had good ideas and was motivated to do it, then i see nothing but a great game coming our way. all these games, whether they be star fox, mega man, f zero, resident evil, dmc.. they would all be nintendo's to use and do whatever they want with. they would have to give these projects to the right teams and i am sure they could make great games out of them. even sakurai can dick around with any of these new acquirements that he finds interesting. the budget would go down, but thats not going to hurt the quality of the game. nintendo has made way better games than capcom in recent years with a fraction of the budget.

Nintendo can barely pump out their big first party games right now, it took them way too long to get games like MK, SSB, Zelda etc out, if they bought capcom they are not gonna be heavily associated with the development of their games cause they are having a hard enough time getting their own games out in time.  The games would still be getting made by capcom, so the same quality, and the budget would be smaller.  Its a lose lose situation for gamers.

That would be the case no matter who buys them...

Which is why no one should buy them...if it has to be someone it should be a third party.

If any of them buys Capcom then that means Capcom's PC business might be at risk which would endanger Cherry Tree High Comedy Club, and that's unacceptable.

Well third parties avoid the WiiU like the plague, so I dont know...
