I see PS4 locally, therefore there is no supply shortage in any of the other 71 countries where it is available. Logic!

Looking up shortages is quite possible, and stores do take phone calls. :3

So you're calling european stores to make sure this is correct?

No, I'm just saying it's possible for people to get information about this beyond where their car takes them.

Yes. But i am i europe and i've been following, very closely, a website that's monitoring the stock in Belgium, Holland and Germany with hundreds of active members who are constantly posting whatever they hear and find about new shipments arriving and it's been REALLY REALLY understocked up until after E3 where now i get a notification every day of a shop having stock all of a sudden. Stock has been good in US, UK and Japan, but that doesn't seem to be the case everywhere else.

X1 sales stink in europe, they havent lost anything. There is a ton of stock in NA(so much that retailers have sold for $360-380), send them overseas.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

lol what? EB games has 6 PS4s, Walmart here has even more. There is no shortage of stock, at least not in the maritimes of Canada. The same goes for X1s and Wii U.  Maybe not those numbers the PS4 has at those locations but they are still stocked up.

The article is talking about EU. This post would be on topic if Canada was what they were talking about.

People read the OP please. No one gives a shit if you've seen a PS4 in EB games or your mothers house. This is pertaining to Europe.

No shortages around me (West Michigan).  There are plenty at all the stores that I go to that sell them.

Stop hating and start playing.

This "shortage" doesn't even make sense. The PS4 isn't even selling that high, while stores are decently to plentiful stocked of PS4's.

Here in the Netherlands I never saw a wild Playstation 4 since launch. Definitly shortages here. :/

Once you entered you won't be the same anymore. A blog about life.

Readily available in Scandinavia. Where are all their units? How many are they producing? If they sell about 550-600k per month globally, how can they not keep up with demand? I guess some would say holiday stockpiling but just how much stock are the piling?

I really don't get it.
