During E3, IGN's Jose Otero interviewed the developers of the newly announced game Splatoon. He asks the questions that most of us were wondering and he got some interesting answers. - The dev team CONFIRMED that there will be a single player mode that you can play offline. - There is going to be a variety of different weapons that will be revealed in the future. - The developers are THINKING of other multiplayer modes and a local 1 on 1 mode. - The are to aiming controls. One is the gyroscope and the other is the right stick. I will only buy this if they do put local multiplayer in it. Looks sweet

Just saw this earlier, game looks like a lot of fun. Just a bit concerned about how much will actually be included in the game but will still get it regardless. Hoping there is voice chat, didn't sound very optimistic when they asked the devs in that video.

My interest in this game keeps going up.... Gotta support the new IPs too.

im not sold on this yet, the biggest realease announcement for me was yoshi's woolly world. i might wait for a review, should add a gonna wait it out option to poll or something, idk.

Lol. I know right. I was watching the Digital Event with two friends on call with me who are not Nintendo fans or even Nintendo console owners and one is even a Sony Fanboy. If you have seen my posts, you can tell that I wanted a Ninty shooter but when I saw Splatoon I was like WTF is this?! I ask Ninty for a realistic FPS and you give me THIS! My sony friend actually liked it and was very excited for it although he does not have a Wii U. This was coming from a guy who debated with me for hours between Ninty and Sony. I started to think about the concept and gameplay and was like this was Genius! After that moment I got so hyped that I watched the Ninty treehouse of Splatoon like 3 times. Since i am on vacation overseas I stayed up till 3 am watching Splatoon. I watched the IGN interview 5 times! I am so hyped for this and Devils Third. The Sony Fanboy loved Devils Third too. He is actually thinking about buying a Wii U.

I will definitely buy it! It's an original shooter that looks like it deserves a chance!
