People still care about last gen? This new gen is much more exciting. Havent seen a thread about last gen in ages. I guess this gen is not that appealing for some to talk about.

Was about time. Not that it is important if Sony or Microsoft sold 80m or 82m consoles but the official numbers were so different for such a long time that it is hard to believe how long VGC needed to adjust it.

Last gen is pretty irrelevant now , not sure why the focus, the battle has moved to a new gen.....

how is X being ahead of Y most of the gen not being, in the end, X ahead of Y, for that gen.

Xbox has been selling as many consoles as PS3 and more software throughout the gen. The winner seems clear to me.

I suspect the only reason this was posted was because it shows the xbox 360 and ps3 sales to be 'equivalent'.

That's still way too much on shelves.
