There's no such thing as bad publicity, as they say, and this shitstorm just did all their advertising for them.

its a pet peve of mine. a website claiming something is "official" then when you enter the article it says "according to our sources". your fucking sources arent official IGN. i hope who ever wrote the article to have diarrhea for a week.

It's just a saying, but this is hardly an MS situation. Since it isn't cancelled, they've just gotten loads of positive attention.

I doubt it's an enormous sum compared to similarly prestigious projects. Team Ico isn't a large dev team and the biggest part of exploding "AAA" game budgets seems to be marketing costs.
