I still have my launch glacier Gameboy Advance it yes, I can confirm that it's by far the best version. The only issue was the screen because it had no backlight. There use to be a company on the internet called afterburner who would install a light, but they've gone out of business.

Did you purchase the rechargable battery pack for it or do you buy AA batteries?

I used my own rechargable AA batteries.

Nintendo eventually got it right. It was called the DS Lite.

Yeah cause the Og Ds was nasty AF. I had to make sure I had the DS Lite when I whooped the other kids in Metroid Prime Hunters at school.

Can't we all just get along. If not for yourself, do it for the future.

I liked the original model because it was BC with Gameboy Advance games.

The DS Lite is also complatible with GBA games. Starting from DSi, however, it was dropped.

Loved my SP, till one day i accidently left it on a radiator in the house and next morning it had melted.

Was a sad day. It actually still worked but there was no way of removing the cartridge anymore, they had melded together as one.

sounds like a plot for a scifi or a horror film

I remember my silver tribal SP. It was amazing to know you could plays games in the dark.

Still a better love story than Twilight.

OT: I loved my SP, and imo, it was the perfect handheld. Simple controls, colorful and bright screen, and very durable (it was for me, at least).

                                                                                                               You're Gonna Carry That Weight.

Xbox One - PS4 - Wii U - PC

It was great for its time. Any more technologically advanced hardware/software would have made it cost more.

It's 2014 right?
