Reduced visibility, what utter tripe.

At this point it doesn't even matter. The games look good enough for most people who are interested in playing them. Particularly for those who come from Gen 7 hardware (Wii).

OT: Resolutiongate aside. The lack of AA really lets down the overall presentation. Aliasing present in almost all captures.

I don't mind. Game resolutions aren't a big deal to me.

Given that we're pretty sure Smash Bros For *is*, the rumor wasn't that far out there.

I just have to add that I said from the start that this whole 1080p rumour was very doubtful and that I find it very much worth discussing or at least pointing out that the game is 720p after all, when just 3 weeks ago we had a pretty big thread here where a whole lot of people just accepted 1080p as fact.

Gee, I wonder how my eyes haven't been burning watching videos of this in 360 or 720p on Youtube up till now.
I do wish the hardware was putting out more but hey, whatever. I've been playing so many indies and 3DS and gen 6 games recently that MK8 will probably look like a godsend.

Well that makes this game a no purchase, please Nintendo focus on what's important in gaming (resolution) instead of gameplay.

Well darn that means the game can't possibly be any good. Day one purchase canceled. I hope someone puts out a 1080p kart racer soon regardless of quality so I can experience true next genynessitty.

I don't believe them, this is Nintendo we are talking about. People would do anything to try to make this game not sell.
