Forums - Gaming Discussion - Your New Game Console Is Eating More Energy Than Ever

Wii U owners then have more money to spend on games :D

Very misleading.

Yep. My Fat Lady is still King of Energy Wasting :)

Not that I would care though. My server and network equipment consume more power than my pc and PS4 and PS3 combined.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

So the Wii U is like the Toyota Prius of gaming consoles.

Ew...

I only leave my ps4 on standby when I'm charging the controller or something else. My ps3 on the other hand, doesn't give me the option, unless I disconnect it (very rarely).

Wii U takes less energy than what the something's limit or something was.

Wii U helps Save Earth.

Save the Earth, buy a Wii U.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

WAIT. MIND BLOWN.

Consoles run on energy, right?

And energy costs money, right?

So, you need to pay money to continue playing your console, right?

PAY-TO-WIN CONFRIMED.

Luckily, my employer pays for all my housing and utilities so I don't have to care about this.

Still pay-to-win, just that your employer is paying the fees for you :p
