The thing is MS changed their policies a month after they messed up. Sony took a couple years.

Poll results are a reflection of recent memories, while blocking out the past......too traumatic to remember I guess lol

Considering Sony couldn't see in the future, and MS didn't need to, MS should've fixed their problems before launch. Not to mention XBL paywall has been in service since it first got Netflix. Back on the 360.

Sony in 2014 imo. After all of Microsoft's fuck ups they're not really trying to capitalize on it, they're assuming that everyone is going to go to Playstation because they've got the better hardware, while Microsoft is securing exclusives that people want to play. I couldn't care less about Titanfall, but there's no doubt that people want to play it. Sunset Overdrive looks lke it'll be a great game. They bought the Gears of War franchise which Sony could have done with the talks they've been having with Epic, and could have stolen the entire fanbase of that series and made them Sony supporters.

Instead, all that Sony has really been pushing has been indie, indie, indie, indie. No offense to those of you out there like Joe the Bro who are indie developers, but indie games don't move consoles. People aren't going to say. "Wow, an indie game! I've got to get a PS4!." No, they say. "Holy sh**! Next gen Call of Duty!."

Sony has had over six months to capitalize on Microsoft's fuck ups but they haven't. Who's more arrogant AND stupid? Sony.

Maybe they aren't being assholes about it.

Or are you suggesting that Sony use its massive debts to purchase TitanFall and Epic.

If you hadn't noticed by now, PS4 doesn't need games to sell, but it has games, lots of them and as Jim Sterliing said, "Indies are system justfiers."

You're just being overly critical.

Meanwhile, MS is only now making more 180s despite having an entire previous generation of information.

What else do you expect Yusef to say? And don't say the truth, it's a business they're working at remember.

He didn't need to mention the PS3 at all. Simple as that.

What he said:

"People have been more satisfied with the Xbox 360 than the PS3, so in that respect people have less of a need to upgrade in the short-term due to regular updates for the Xbox 360,..."

What he could have said:

"People are very satisfied with the Xbox 360 and what it has to offer, so in that respect people have less of a need to upgrade in the short-term due to regular updates for the Xbox 360,..."

2 very different statments, and the latter less petty.

This.

I don't see why they had to discredit Sony by saying people weren't as satisfied with the ps3.

The one where they said people with no internet shouldn't upgrade.

Nintendo at the time of the 3DS launch when it was WAY overpriced and had no compelling software for months? Of the two options in the OP, I think Sony 2006 was more arrogant, while Microsoft 2013 was just stupid.

Upcoming Games To Get

Definite: Kirby Star Allies (Switch), Mario Tennis Aces (Switch), Fire Emblem (Switch), Yoshi (Switch), Pokemon (Switch), Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4), Monster Hunter World (PS4)

Considering: Fe (Switch), Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (Switch), The World Ends With You (Switch), Ys VIII (Switch), Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition (PS4), Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Remix (PS4), The Last Guardian (PS4), Shadow of the Colossus HD (PS4), Anthem (PS4), Shenmue 3 (PS4), WiLD (PS4)

Not sure why they MS quote is receiving so much hate, they are right, why else would multiplats sell more on 360.

Sony came off as arrogant and cocky, and they deserved all the backlash.

Microsoft also came out as arrogant and cocky, and they too deserved all the backlash.

Overall though, I think Microsoft has been slightly worse, because their PR debacle seems to continue every day, and the simple fact that they didn't learn from Sony's mistakes (in fact, they built on them) is just frustrating.

Atleast the hardware in the PS3 was worth the price and Sony were not ripping us off. It was also the cheapest blu-ray player for a long time.... the technology which MS tried to screw but are now using it themselves.

the xbone on the other hand is a complete rip off, the camera is not worth as much as they claim and even after removing it from the bundle, MS insist the xbone alone should cost as much as a PS4. what a joke.

In terms of anti-consumer policies, the xbone beats any other product in history and will be keeping the crown for a long time to come.

Some could argue Sony shoehorned it in to corner the movie box sales market. Due to DVD loading faster, mandatory installs for many PS3 titles and what not......the odd 360 game having multiple disks isn't reason enough to justify making a $599 console.

The joke is Sony took you all for a ride and you act like it was all in your best interest, while MS solved their biggest cons before the consoles launch, and the rest, 6 months after. It took Sony 2 years to cover up their arrogance

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
