I'm still trying to get online after this patch. Not done a shit.

So what does the EU law say? Do I have the right to get a refund of this broken game that I can only have access to 50% of the game? Can't belive I fell for Evolution studios bullshit once again after Motorstorm:Apocalypse shitty online servers.Guess the I couldn't resist to finally have racing game on my PS4....

I have no idea how servers work. Are their servers just badly optimised or something, so patching code makes the server more stable and capable of handling more traffic? If so, they must have been really negligent these past few years.

I hope Sony is planning to look at all of the servers for their studios and planning betas going forward for any game with a sizable online component.

Guess Driveclub is a huge fucking letdown for players.

Do you have the digital version?  People in the gaf thread have mentioned they got refunds for their download, but you have to meet certain criteria according to them. One person said youhave to have less than 10% trophies unlocked, another said you couldn't have any.

Also, are you not enjoying the game?  I understand it must be frustrating to not get online, but if the rest of the game is good then even a one week wait doesn't seem like too much to put up with. of course, if you don't enjoy the single player either than it is totally understandable.

Not for those playing offline. Game is pretty fucking good.

On my way to plat dark souls last month, I was still able to find people to summon. Also, Playstation hate on this site is extremely high.

The game is built around online and so is the SP. Sure I have enjoyed the gameplay but this game is built with online in mind. I get no leaderboard,no clubs,no challenges,no ghosts. The AI is no

fun to race against in comparision to real players.

The thing is I have no trust in the studio to fully fix the online. They had Motorstorm: Apacolypse and does Servers sucked and now they are doing it again like they have learned nothing from there previous experiance.

Well I would say try to return it then if you are really unhappy with it

Driveclub is probably your cup of tea, but I doubt it is a good racing game. I've seen some footage and well... 

Physics seems off, cars drift a lot for unknown reason you know like in Ridge Racer... Wich is not a good point at all.
You can hit wall instead of breaking on a lot of occasion.
IA seems to ride on a train rail.
Aliasing and 30fps... Wich is a shame since the game is not that beautiful and Ps4 is a proved capable and well crafted console on par with solid actual pc.

I've not put my hands on it since I'm waiting for the free version, so I reserve my final judgement for later but so far it does not seems good.
