Early to tell yet.

But some Xbox users said to me the Ghosts was 720p because it was a launch title... next year it will be 1080p.

Well im sure you can dismiss that to optomism through getting a handle on the hardware. Perhaps 1 year after is still too soon because it is technically the 1st attempt of the 2nd of 3 COD developers. Hell that means 2015's COD won't be 1080p because it will be the 3rd COD devs first crack at 8th gen hardware.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

I don't think it looked great. Sometimes YouTube videos though look awful so I'll wait for a higher quality video before making a final judgement.

Still, this shouldn't matter at all. Who cares if the resolution on the Xbox one is slightly less good as the PS4. Just let people decide on which of their consoles they want to buy the game. The resolution theads about PS4 versus Xbox one has to stop, it always ends bad. It's a very bad quality as person if you want to prove something so you feel better, a very bad quality. Hopefully one day those people will realize this.

New info, another person (that I would trust way more than me ) claims it's around 800P

http://forum.beyond3d.com/showpost.php?p=1844667&postcount=3914

I also find roughly a 4/3 ratio for both vertical and horizontal resolution which is exactly 810p.

A very long vertical edge can be found in the first image between the window and the book shelf. For horizontal resolution it's more tricky but we can thanks the FXAA naughty artefacting for giving us several long horizontal edges on the white truck here:

We can safely presume the native resolution (of gameplay-ish scenes) is approximately 800p.

But it's maybe exactly 810p!! After the Titanfall 793p resolution everything is possible!

It shouldn't be hard to see that they are going with the resolution in which the hardware can handle stable 60 frames per second. To be fair, you have to admit that the CoD engine isn't something that reaches high graphic fidelity, but this new game does seem to be reaching better visuals.

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

That's my point. I thought the trailer looked great initially, so the fact it's less than 1080P shouldn't change that. Really, it shows next gen lighting and assets is far more important than the resoution being sub 1080P to how the game looks.

I wouldn't really have expected 1080P, 60 FPS, and the game to look that good. In fact, I have a suspiscion PS4 wont be able to handle these visuals at 1080/60 either, but we will see.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.
