Very doubtful.  PS4 has own juggernauts like Gran Turismo and Uncharted.

However, for the yearly big 3rd party games like Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed, the PS4 versions will look and play better than the Xbox1 counterparts for the foreseeable future (despite DX12), and this will be a big factor for PS4 NPD lifetime victory.

Halo was a new IP as was Gears of War when it debuted on 360.  Being a new or old IP doesn't really matter.  Online only is not a big cramp in the appeal of games that are about online MP.  

A big AAA shooter and price cuts have already not altered the trajectory of their console sales much if at all. I think that may be indicative of what other Big AAA shooters and price cuts will be able accomplish.

I don't think what I'm saying is utter nonsense.  Big AAA shooters is how 360 stayed above PS3 in US.  They don't seem to be pulling X1 ahead in the region now.  I wouldn't be surprised if Halo wasn't enough to raise it above PS4 either.

No that is impossible,the xbox one still has plenty of wild cards that will appeal americans,kinect and a pricecut,Halo and gears,exclusive advertising and deals even if its just one month a year the xbox one will outsell the ps4 in north america.

PS4 will win every month until Halo 5 or Gears is released. Assuming there's no huge PS4 title in the same month. If there is..well..it depends on which game it is...not just any exclusive will be enough to keep the lead on that month
