I know the WiiU version is the best one. But if people can play eachother online and in person with the 3ds and that is the only option for half a year, it seems hard to think that those who got the 3ds one will buy both, especially if they currently don't own a WiiU

Its definitely hard to argue facts as the one you brought up, but SSB imho is a different case. Its always been a console game, many SSB games sold on 3DS will make the WiiU version look so much more appealing, it will be significantly different. (meaning its not the same exact game) If it were the opposite way of release that would be retarded. Cuz 3DS sales will suffer alot more despite and better rise in wiiu version sales. 3DS version is the appetizer and wiiu version is the main course!

Besides many will definitely perferr the console version, im telling ya,wait for them sales! WiiU version should do 3mil+ lifetime (hopefully 4-5mil on the terrible installbase of WiiU) and 3DS will break records! (well maybe not but hopefully 5mil+, potentially 6mil!

It will be released close to the Holidays. The Wii U will sell above average numbers the week of Smash's release. Some will claim this is due to Smash, others will say it is a normal Holiday boost and Smash did nothing.

With MK8 and Smash Bros, and if hyrule warriors is released in between those will push WiiU towards the 10mil mark but think WiiU is pretty much dead after that.

Sorry, don't mean to sound negative, i love my WiiU but ive lost hope for a significant jump in sales, it's a shame as it's a cracking console.

Raising sales "at all" and "pushing above XB1/PS4 numbers" is a ridiculously wide margin. Maybe statements like that are why people don't take to your threads too well.
