How Much Will it Sell FW?

Less than 200K 26 8.52%

200K 27 8.85%

300K 53 17.38%

400K 44 14.43%

500K 35 11.48%

600K+ 120 39.34%

Total:305

Lol at the majority choosing 600k+. Idt there's any way it's getting close to that #.

I'd say about 250k. 300k would be a pretty good FW I think. A large amt of Ps4 owners are definitely ppl who already owned a ps3 and already bought TLoU. Tbh, I'm one of those ppl, but ill be getting TLoU again for ps4. Most ppl will not do this, though, at least at full price. I've wanted a ps4 version since the beginning, but it's also worth it to me bc I didn't buy any of the DLC but know I want left behind.

It will sell similar to how Tomb Raider did for the PS4 so somwhere between 200,00 to 300,000. It could possibly reach 400,000 but that would be really high.

TLOU is obviously going to sell MORE than TR:DE.

1,000,000 son!

If a remake of a game only a year old with slightly shinier graphics sells gangbusters, I will lose some faith in the gaming population.

Depends what you mean by gangbusters.

Tomb Raider sold almost 200k Week 1 across PS4 and Xbox One. Closing in on 500k now.

I guess 250k cause everything on ps4 sells

But I am wondering... Are people going to spend $60 (if thats the actual price) for a remaster + dlc on a one year old game? Its just a bit weird now that I think of it cause one would think that majority of the people that bought a ps4 so far are Sony fans who already played the Last of Us and bought all the DLC so is a graphical upgrade all that people need to buy this game again? I know in the future, people that havn't played it will buy it but as of right now?

Not saying Sony will lose money or its a bad game or anything, its just a bit weird that they would release it so soon

Seeing as it is not a franchise yet, porting it later would be pointless. It also basically costs about as much as the ps3 retai new + dlc.

Can you think of any series that has been remastered/upported that wasn't part of a series i.e more than one game. Tomb Raider is close but its a reboot so it doesn't count.

The only way a TLOU remastered would be viable in even 4 years time would be if there was a TLOU sequel and then even that would probably be on PS4 so you would probably need to wait even longer to see something like TLOU Collection.

I'll go with 300k

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

Let's see...I'd guess that lifetime is probably going to be somewhere in the 2-3m area, so I'd venture 500k or so.

I think 200k ~ 300k is pretty realistic. It can probably hit 1 million by the holiday season or before 2015.

I don't see how so many people are voting 600k+, it sounds very, very unlikely.
