Mario Kart 8 Wii U is a new game for the Wii U. It features new elements such as customizing bikes and designing your own tracks. It is the sequel to the game Mario Kart 7.

Considering how well received the build a level in SSB games have been getting this would be a natural addition if true.

If true and meaningful (not just flat circular tracks of preset parts), this would persuade me to buy it.

The gamepad would be perfect for that!
Wouldn`t mind building some tracks. Could be cool.

Hopefully it is similar to the creation tools in ModNation Racers. It was very simple using that.

Looking at the build a stage for Smash brother they may have track pieces where you "snap" them together to make a course, much like the old race track kits of old. (Don't know if they sell them anymore..)

Would be awesome if true. I really think this game will be the best MK yet, which is saying a lot.
