You are right. The  score that was used  by GS is still the 9/10 which is in my opinion the score BioShock Infinite truly deserves.

How do you know they're such a big site these days? I personally know tons of gamers who don't ever visit the site anymore cause they think it's a joke of a gaming site. Wouldn't be surprised if they've lost a lot of hits in recent years.

Not surprising. The game looks really bad and totally rushed.

But if GameSpot gives the next Uncharted below an 8... ohh boy, I'll be on their ass!

the fact that we are even talking about them and their reviews are the most visible tells me they are still big. Doesnt matter if a few of your buddies dont visit the site, I dont either. Let me put it this way, they are still around and can you name another bigger game site? Only thing comes to mind is IGN and maybe gametrailers but thats pushing it.

which I applaud, though some of their reviews aren't very good.
And a lot of times they don't understand game mechanics, Which I don't applaud.

I was wondering that too, and bio shock got two scores as well? A 9 and 4?! So which is the review they stand behind? A 9 and 4 for bio shock is quite the discrepancy.... Wow.

I'd really like to know their reasoning behind this. I mean, I haven't played it yet, but I pretty much know what to expect and from what I've read elsewhere I see no reason why it would receive a 5/10.
