Also, did anyone notice the monsters moving in the background in the X demo. That helps to show how much is going on there. There could be a little more detail on the creatures themselves, but people should realize that the world is full of them and you can see them in the distance even when you are fighting another.

did you watch the gameplay footage, very unimpressive, horrible models, flat lighting, and that animation is laughable.

It's what i'm referring to, this old member who constantly derailed discussions to bash Wii U's graphics capabilities and had a particular fixation on dumping on X, specifically by comparing it negatively to RDR. A difficult pursuit, largely because of how little footage we have of X comparatively.

The only thing that looked troublesome to me in the X footage we saw yesterday was the fur textures on the giant ape's arms. Especially because Nintendo usually does exceptional fur textures (Mario Galaxy 1's are still impressive, even as the rest of its game shows it's age by being in SD)

yea but what stood out for you, tell me what looked so impressive about X in that gameplay clip, when i look at both both GTA5 and RDR, they can look quite stunning at times, when i show people RDR/GTA5 on 360 that don't play games they say it looks amazing like a movie, sure RDR can looks average at times but when it shines it looks amazing to me. the grass in X look like card board cut outs.

I saw the gameplay trailer. Isn´t it too much fighting? I mean how hyperactive one has to be to be able to follow bayonetta destroying almost everything. I have not played the first part...or did they maybe just show the most extreme scences to make a point about it´s graphics capability?

Yeah, I also think God of War 3 looks better than Bayonetta, and Ryse by an absolute ton.

The gap is certainly smaller but hell look at Ryse or Infamous SS. It's still very noticeable and I think the gap will only increase.
We haven't seen anything from Halo 5, next gen Rockstar game, new God of War, true next gen Battlefield, Uncharted 4, Crysis 4 or similar game from one of the many Crytek studios, Half-Life 3 (lol), next Elder Scrolls, next Metro etc.
