I have heard a good bit of news lately about the 3DS and Wii U successor Should this scare me from buying one? I do not want to get a Wii U if it is not going to be Nintendo's latest home console for a few years atleast. What do you guys think?

Stuff like this is concerning me about getting a Wii U (I am just waiting for my tax refund)

Is Nintendo just talking about their next consoles way to early or are they getting their replacements ready?

It's way to early for Nintendo to even think about speaking about a new console. It will only hurt their current situation.

It gots 3 years including last year. Than the next handheld will there main focus.

No company would abandon a console like that. That would doom them forever. Nintendo has to sit Wii U out and fix it. Or go through another 4.5 years of losses. Till the next one. And you can't design a new system within 1 year and release it properly. It would be 3 messes on top of each other.

I think I saw the same thing... Although, there has been a lot of "please convince me" threads.

They started the work on the Wii U after the release of the Wii. Of course they are working on something new but if you want to play all the (good) upcoming games and the games which already released you have enough to do, not including hours of Miiverse activity.

no. It has no reason to scare you. we know there will be a playstation successor and xbox but i doubt that scares you. they are discussing a console that will come in 5 years or four. you are scared for no reason. damn, my phone sucks on the mobile version of this site.

x, sMASH, mARIO KART8, Mario 3DWorld and the next Zelda sure are worth buyiing a 250$ console. at least for me
